― Billy-Ray Belcourt, A History of My Brief Body
[text ID: To love someone is firstly to confess: I’m prepared to be devastated by you.]
toxic productivity is a total thing that needs to be talked about more often. you don’t need to be spending every minute of every day getting work done. time off where you just get to chill is not a waste. you shouldn’t feel guilty whenever you’re doing something you love, even if it’s not necessarily “productive.” sometimes happiness means watching your favorite tv show or taking a lazy walk on a sunny day or doing literally nothing at all, and that’s totally okay
Most important lesson I learned in the past year is, don’t let anyone turn you cruel.
No matter how badly you wanna give the world a taste of its own bitter medicine.
It’s never worth losing yourself over.
“Weird energy in here today” I say, referring to the inside of my brain.
